In June 2020, there was much discussion about whether coronavirus will change the way we work forever, particularly for those of us who work in offices.

Our client, Bishopsgate Financial, was already ahead of the curve. Following the implementation of lockdown, the change management consultancy become an early adopter of virtual working, joining businesses such as Twitter in ditching the office space permanently.

Their status as one of the City’s first financial sector players to take the step has made them a key voice in the industry.

To help cement Bishopsgate Financial as an industry thought leader, The Think Tank went on a PR offensive throughout May and June, positioning them as leader in change. The campaign involved placing comment from CEO Mike Hampson, newsjacking and interviews.

So far, the campaign has generated online readership of 1.48 billion, viewership of 1.6 million and listenership of 150 million, with campaign highlights being Mike’s interview appearances on Sky News, BBC News and BBC World Service Radio.

We have also secured coverage in the Financial Times, Guardian, Observer, Estates Gazette and UK Finance.

For Sky News, Jonathan Samuels interviewed Mike on Bishopsgate Financial’s decision to work from home permanently and on BBC London Mike Hampson spoke alongside the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.

Mike Hampson, CEO, Bishopsgate Financial says;

“The Think Tank Team have been excellent at securing a range of coverage for us on a wide range of topics. Recently it has been around us moving from being office-based to remote working and our thoughts on how wide-ranging this change will be across all office-based work. Their contacts and expertise have secured coverage across national, TV and radio, the mainstream press and also industry-focused magazines.”
