Zeroignition (Zi) is one of the world’s most innovative fire retardant technology companies, combining their main solution with almost any material to make it resistant to fire. Zi’s mission is to prevent unnecessary loss of life from fire.

The B2B PR campaign included running a proactive and reactive press office in multiple markets (UK, Germany and France).

Unknown to the media in its target countries, this was the first official introduction of Zi to the architecture, building and construction and fire safety sectors, as well as the wider press. Using Zi’s in-depth research on the views of professionals on construction projects and fire protection, The Think Tank presented the findings in a way to excite the media and secure coverage.

Drawing on the wealth of construction industry knowledge at Zi, The Think Tank also created and executed a thought leadership strategy. A further extension of this was the leveraging of breaking news to place material, particularly in relation to the Hackitt report and Grenfell Inquiry.

The coverage resulted in the re-opening of dialogue with a long-standing sales lead Zi which is now close to converting. On the back of the research, a key fire federation in the UK also got in touch to discuss the possibilities of Zi presenting to its members.

The campaign resulted in over 50 pieces of coverage and counting, an online readership of over two million and print circulation of 156k.
