Reuters Plus, the branded content studio of the world's largest international multimedia news provider asked The Think Tank to support the launch of a new branded content campaign with the Narok County Government in South West Kenya.

The campaign showcased the benefits that tourism brings to the region, including new opportunities for the Maasai people, female empowerment and the creation of local guardians who are protecting the remarkable wildlife for future generations.

While the world-famous national park is always fully booked during the annual wildebeest migration, Reuters Plus needed to present the Maasai Mara as a year-round destination.

The Think Tank developed a focussed media relations campaign targeting travel trade publications as well as marketing and national travel correspondents. As a result, The Think Tank’s media relations skills, client KPIs were easily surpassed with a feature in Travel Weekly, a case study on The Drum and an article in the Daily Express.
